Lunch Munchr is a Tiger Forge app. This Privacy Policy describes how Lunch Munchr (“we,” “our,” or “the app”) handles your information when you use our mobile application.

Information we collect

Location information

Lunch Munchr uses your device's location to find restaurants near you. This location data is:

  • Used only in real time when you open the app and perform a search
  • Sent to the Google Places API to return nearby restaurant results
  • Never stored on any servers we operate
  • Never linked to any personal identifier
  • Never shared with third parties for marketing, tracking, or advertising purposes

Information we do NOT collect

We do not collect, store, or process:

  • Your name, email address, phone number, or any personally identifying information
  • Your search history
  • Account credentials (the app does not require an account)
  • Device identifiers
  • Usage analytics
  • Photos or any media from your device
  • Contacts
  • Any other personal data

How location is used

When you tap a cuisine button, the app:

  1. Requests your current GPS coordinates from your device
  2. Sends those coordinates (along with your chosen cuisine and search radius) to Google's Places API
  3. Receives a list of matching restaurants back
  4. Displays those restaurants on your device

Your location coordinates are not logged, stored, cached, or transmitted anywhere else.

Third-party services

Google Places API

We send location coordinates and search terms to Google in order to retrieve restaurant information. Google's use of this data is governed by Google's own privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy

Google Maps (on tap)

When you tap “Directions,” your device opens Google Maps. Any interaction within Google Maps is governed by Google's privacy policy.

Permissions

Location (required)

The app requests permission to access your location while in use. You can revoke this permission at any time through your device settings. Without location access, the app cannot find nearby restaurants.

Children's privacy

Lunch Munchr does not knowingly collect any information from children under 13. The app is suitable for general audiences.

Data retention

We do not retain any user data because we do not collect or store any.

Your rights

Because we do not collect personal data, there is no personal data to access, correct, delete, or port. You are fully in control of your device's location permissions and can revoke them at any time.
